Shophouses
These are usually developments with shops on the ground floor and residential or offices on the 2nd or 3rd storeys.
They are in great demand as there are limited supply in Singapore. Shophouses are wonderful alternatives to high-rise office towers as they have historic value and tend to attract businesses in the creative industries like architectural firms, design houses and publishing houses.
Investing in shophouses at good locations such as the Duxton Road and Ann Siang Hill areas are savvy investment strategies because they tend to show great capital appreciation.
